Barbados has inscribed two significant cultural elements of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage listing.
The announcement from the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office with Responsibility for Culture, Senator Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight, who was speaking at the launch of the National Intangible Heritage Committee’s public awareness campaign last evening.
Chairman of the Intangibles Committee, Rodney Grant, explained how a manual would be used to shape the knowledge in the communities.
