Police are continuing investigations into a shooting incident at St Paul’s Avenue, Bayville, St Michael last evening, which left one man dead.
They have identified the man shot as 20-year-old Shae Antone Hackett, of Dunlow Lane, Bay Street, St. Michael.
It was reported to the Police Operations Control Room that there were loud gunshots and afterwards that a man was lying motionless on the ground, around 10:10 pm on Monday.
Police personnel from Hastings/Worthings Station and the Criminal Investigations Department responded to the area and confirmed the incident had occurred.
Ambulance personnel also responded to the scene to examine the body and found no sign of life.
Another young male who was reportedly injured in the same incident, was transported to the QEH Hospital by private transport.
