Personnel at the District ‘C’ Police Station are carrying out investigations into the unnatural death of a 17-year-old female.
A release from the Barbados Police Service notes that the teen died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Police provided the following details:
“The police at District ‘C’ Station received a report about 12:24 p.m. from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QE.H) stating that a 17-year-old female presented to the hospital earlier that morning, who was suspected of trying to commit suicide.
“Efforts were made to revive her but was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
“Investigations are continuing into this matter.”
