Walk the Talk launched for 2023

A mentorship programme has been added to the Red Foundation’s Walk the Talk charity initiative this year.

Chairman of the Foundation Alvin Jemmott made the disclosure during a media conference at the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation.

He says corporate Barbados as well as individuals have responded well to calls for assistance and this year the aim is to raise the number of hampers for distribution.

Patron and Founder of the Foundation Dr. the Honourable Stedson ‘Red Plastic Bag’ Wiltshire outlined the four legs of the route, starting with the first one on the October 29.

CBC Marketing Coordinator Nicole Collins says the Walk the Talk event fits in well with the Corporation’s 60th anniversary celebrations.

T-shirts for the Walk the Talk Charity walk will go on sale at the CBC and a number of other locations from next week.
