The Government of Barbados remains committed to those in the fishing industry, yet it will not condone certain acts.
The reminder has come from the Minister of Environment, National Beautification, and the Blue and Green Economy, Adrian “Medic” Forde.
He was speaking during the 80th-anniversary celebrations of the Barbados Fisheries Division at the revival time assembly, this morning, where officials in the fishing industry gathered to mark their milestone.
Minister Forde notes the fishing industry is on the cusp of being one of the most successful industries in Barbados.
