The woman charged in connection with the November 28th murder of Shanice Miller has been remanded to Dodds Prison.
31 year old Shakira Carlann Blackman of 4th Avenue Park Road, Bush Hall appeared in the Criminal Court #1 today, Saturday, December 4th, 2021 before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes.
She was not required to plea to the indictable charge, and is expected to reappear in court on December 30th, 2021.
It was reported that Miller was stabbed multiple times during an altercation along Upper James Street near its junction with Synagogue Lane around 8:30 in the morning.
Miller reportedly ran to the Central Police Station where she collapsed at the main gate.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance and underwent emergency surgery, but passed away.
