A magnificent century from opener Zachary McCaskie propelled Sir Garfield Sobers Giants to a narrow one wicket victory over the Sir Wesley Hall Chiefs in round two of the BCA Legends Cup yesterday at the Desmond Oval.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, a brilliant hundred from Rivaldo Clarke helped the Chiefs to 327 for nine in their allotted 50 overs.
Clarke and Tauron Gibson shared in a 114-run partnership.
The final will be played on October 5 at Kensington Oval.
CBC’s Anmar Goodridge-Boyce reports on that innings.
