Central Bank Governor Dr. Kevin Greenidge has recommended a major digital revolution as one way Barbados and the region can achieve sustainable and inclusive growth.
Dr. Greenidge was delivering the Third Distinguished Owen Arthur Memorial Lecture last night.
During his address, he explained sustainable growth refers to an economic system that thrives without depleting natural resources, while ensuring social equity and meeting the needs of future generations.
He’s suggested one of the pillars needed to achieve this, is for the region to become digitally fluent.
