Barbadians Jack Francis and Ronald “Suki” King hold the top two positions after rounds seven and eight were completed yesterday at the Scottish Three-Move Draughts Championship in Stone-Haven.
Francis is leading the pack with 27 points, closely followed by Former World Champion King on 26 points.
Francis defeated fellow Barbadian Kent Layne in round seven one-nil, while Suki got the better of Sean Philips of Ireland two-nil as well as Scotland’s Con Boyle two-nil in rounds seven and eight.
Layne is currently fifth on 16 points.
After losing to Jack, he bounced back to draw with Shane McCosker in round eight.
