Barbados ended the 2024 CARIFTA Swimming Championship in the Bahamas with 37 medals – 15 Gold, 15 Silver and 7 Bronze – 5th overall behind the hosts with 101.
Heidi Stoute won the FINA High Point Award while Jaiya Simmons won the Girls 13-14 age group.
One of the highlights for Barbados in the final session last night came through Michael Sobers in the Boys 11-12 200m Backstroke.
He claimed Gold with a time of two minutes; 29.95 seconds.
