The Barbados Royals Women have won the 2023 Women’s Caribbean Premier League.
The champions beat the Guyana Amazon Warriors Women in a thrilling final moments ago, at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad and Tobago.
Sent in to bat, the Royals reached 169 for seven off 20 overs, with captain Hayley Matthews making 82 runs and then returning to bowl the final nailbiting over. The Warriors reached 161 for eight off their twenty overs.
