Former BVA President and BOA Secretary John Griffith laid to rest

Former Barbados Volleyball Association President and Barbados Olympic Association Secretary John Griffith was laid to rest today at Coral Ridge.

President of the BVA, Kenmore Bynoe, who was one of many to offer tributes to the late administrator, said Griffith was undoubtedly the best leader of local volleyball, and inspired many to do great things.

Vice President of the BOA Cameron Burke, offered sincere condolences on behalf of the entire Association.

Griffith is survived by his widow, CBC Research Officer Carol Griffith and daughter Ericka.

The CBC extends condolences to the family.
