Josh Burke has pushed himself into the semifinals of the BTMI Barbados Surf Pro at the Soup Bowl.
Josh first booked a spot in this morning’s quarterfinals, winning heat one of the round of 16 with a best score of 7.17 and a total of 12.57.
He then went into the final eight, beating American Cole McCaffray 11.33 to 10.37, with his best score being a 5.83.
Josh is the only Barbadian left in the Pro event, after his brother Jacob Burke crashed out in his heat four round of 16 match-up, with a best wave of 3.73 and a total of 6.73.
He finished 13th overall.
