Kolij dominates swimming championships

Harrison College has repeated as both the boys’ and girls’ champions at the 2023 Powerade Secondary Inter-School Swimming Championships.

Competing at the Aquatic Centre, Kolij won the boy’s title for the 12 consecutive time with 270 points, while they took the girls for the 11th year running with 327.

2nd in the boys were the swimmers from Christ Church Foundation with 213 and 3rd St. Michael School with 180.

While runners-up in the girls were Foundation with 172 and Queen’s College 3rd with 119.

There were three swimmers who totalled 54 points – the highest among all competitors -: Amiya Harrison of Kolij in the 12 & under girls; Zachary Burke of Kolij in the 12 & under boys; and Toni Waldron of Springer in the 15 & over girls.
