The Sauber Academy driver raced from eighth on the grid to seize his first Formula 2 win, showcasing the prowess of Rodin Motorsport.
Jake Crawford secured a commendable second place for DAMS, while rookie and Red Bull junior Josep María Marti took a third place finish for Campos Racing.
Maloney secured 12 points ahead of tomorrow’s feature race.
