National Senior Games gearing up for May

As the 14 sporting federations set to participate in this year’s National Senior Games gear up for the May 5- 20 events, there is a call for persons to come out and get involved.

While the games cater to persons 50 and over, there is also an invitation extended to persons 40-49 to participate in the master component.

Games Co-ordinator Jasper Blades says federations will be hosting their internal competition way before the May start date.

Among the changes this year is the inclusion of six new disciplines, while the track and field component is being spread across three days, May 18 to 20.
