The St. Leonard’s Anglican Church held a special service for the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup.
Reverend Canon Dr Sonia Hinds, Rector of St. Leonard’s Anglican Church, stressed that success in cricket required many of the qualities needed for a good life.
Meanwhile, Cricket Operations and Development Manager at the Barbados Cricket Association, Wendell Coppin, who is also the Event Manager of the LOC, expressed gratitude to the church for recognising their work.
There were also special presentations during the service from a range of artistes, including “The Mighty Gabby”.
