The competition was easy like 1,2,3.
That’s the word from the Scottish Draughts Open Champion, Barbadian Ronald “Suki” King after he secured the title while in Stonehaven, Scotland.
King ended on 34 points, the same as fellow Barbadian Jack Francis, but King took the title via honour points.
Speaking to CBC Sports on arrival from the U.K., King says he was always confident of doing well.
Suki however admitted that losing to Francis in one of the matches was due to pressure from the play-clock.
