Police have confirmed the identity of the person whose remains were found at the Mangrove Landfill today.
The body has been officially identified by a family member as that of 30-year-old Samara Bristol.
Police thanked the media and the general public for their support and information conveyed during the initial searches and noted that their investigations continue into this unnatural death.
Police public relations officer, Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, offered condolences to the family of Ms Bristol:
“At this time we offer our condolences to the Bristol family who have been experiencing exceptionally difficult times over the past few days.”
