Deputy President of the Senate, Her Honour Senator Elizabeth Thompson suggests the Government may have to enact noise and environmental pollution legislation in its entirety.
Ms Thompson says cooperation from the public is critical even with the enactment of the legislation.
She also called attention to those who mow lawns and other professionals who create noise nuisances, especially in the early hours.
She was speaking during the debate on the Minor Offences Amendment Bill in the Upper House.
