Some patriotic Barbadians came out early this morning to witness the spectacle, as they joined in the commemoration of Remembrance Day.
The Wreath Laying Ceremony saw several dignitaries in attendance, with an adapted parade and virtual interdenominational service which hundreds watched online or on television due to COVID-19.
However, the solemnity, Last Post and cannon firing were not omitted as the war veterans were honoured.
