Parties in St. Joseph impasse to negotiate

There are major developments in the dispute over access rights to Joe’s River and the area known as ‘Tea Cup and Saucer’ were highlighted by concerned St. Joseph residents.

Word is that all parties involved will be heading to the negotiation table.

Attorney General and Member of Parliament (MP ) for St. Joseph, Dale Marshall, says he has spoken to the developer.

In order to deal with the dispute as MP for St. Joseph, Mr Marshall has asked to be recused from the matter.

The concerned citizens have been gradually ratcheting up the focus on the dispute over access, with the backing of the social commentator and iconic calypsonian, The Most Honourable Anthony ‘Gabby’ Carter and the highly regarded hometown veteran, trade unionist Sir Roy Trotman.

They have also retained the services of the legal luminary, Senator Gregory Nicholls.
