Major stakeholders in the Crop Over Festival have come forward to approve the judging process of the NCF’s People’s Choice Competition.
Over the weekend, several posts were made on social media platforms querying the selection of the top 40 artists who have advanced to the next round of online voting.
There were claims that people advanced who had fewer votes than others who did not reach the next stage, however, President of the Barbados Association of Creatives and Artistes, Sean ‘Apache’ Carter, says after being invited to see the vote validation process, he is comfortable with the results.
Meanwhile, President of the Entertainment Association of Barbados, Rudy Maloney, believes the process was fair
Voting in the second round of the Student Revolving Loan Fund and Sunshine Snacks People’s Choice Competition in Association with Banks started on July 16 and ends on Wednesday, July 20th.
