Today is Budget Day

In a matter of hours, Barbadians will hear how Government intends to address critical economic and social matters over the next year or so.

That’s when Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley will deliver the 2023/24 Budget from the House of Assembly.

The awaited Budget presentation has been a talking point among the business community, as well as among average Barbadians.

The Budget presentation is slated for three o’ clock this afternoon.

We’ll also have predictions and analysis on CBC TV8 later today in a live pre-Budget discussion starting at 2:30 p.m.

Panellists will include Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Board for Undergraduate Studies at the University of the West Indies, Professor Justin Robinson, Economist Dr. Justin Ram and Political Analyst Peter Wickham, and it’s hosted by CBC’s Wendy Burke.
