A light 4.5 earthquake was recorded in the eastern Caribbean off Guadeloupe today.
The UWI Seismic Research Centre says the quake, recorded at 8:41 a.m. was located at latitude 16.80 North and longitude 60.95 West or 89 kilometres northeast of Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe and 105 kilometres east-southeast of St. John’s, Antigua.
It struck at a depth of 10 kilometres.
