Last night’s friendly match between the Barbados National Senior Men’s squad and the visiting St. Vincent and the Grenadines team was called off due to the malfunctioning of the generator at the BFA facility in Wildey.
There was an issue with the generator at the venue which caused the match to be delayed for 30 minutes from its 8:00 p.m. start time.
Technicians were brought in and after several attempts to resolve the generator problem, the match was postponed.
However, after careful consideration a decision was made to officially cancel the friendly match.
Patrons who purchased tickets are asked to keep their stubs to present on entry and will be allowed access to the CONCACAF Nations League home fixture against Cuba on March 23.
