Hundreds of delegates have begun to arrive for this week’s Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s (CHTA) Marketplace and Trade Show in Barbados.
Barbados will be taking the opportunity to showcase what it has to offer to international tourism journalists.
Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association, Ryan Forde, was speaking of the grand opportunity last night on CBC TV 8’s The People’s Business.
Chairman of the Tourism Development Corporation, Mark Thompson, says there are also plans to make sure Bridgetown does not sleep, by creating more opportunities for tourists to enjoy what Barbados has to offer.
He says Bridgetown has to go beyond providing duty-free shopping
