Five more Barbadians have succumbed to COVID-19.
The deceased include an 89 year old woman, who was dead on arrival at the Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, November 12th.
A 68 year old woman also passed away at the A&E on Sunday, November 14th.
On November 15th, a 78 year old man died at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility.
Two men aged 36 and 67, died today, Tuesday, November 16th at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility.
They were all unvaccinated.
The COVID-19 death toll has now reached 199.
Acting Minister of Health and Wellness, Senator Dr. Jerome Walcott, has extended condolences to their loved ones.
