All set for Independence Day celebrations

All is set for tomorrow’s Independence Day celebrations.

One park and ride location for the Independence Parade is already at capacity as Barbadians are showing great interest in the event.

While the pomp and pageantry will be part of this year’s Parade it will likely take on a different feel as it moves to a new location.

Wendy Burke tells us that the Usain Bolt Complex to Carlton, Black Rock stretch should provide for a greater spectacle with residents from a densely populated community being able to take any vantage point to observe.
