The island’s newest co-operative is hoping to partner with Government to among other things, help people in prison reintegrate into society.
The Alliance of Reform Minded Entrepreneurs or ARM-E is comprised of former inmates and those interested in prison reform.
It caters to former inmates to allow them a new lease on life and to use their skills to earn for themselves and even employ others.
Pedro Ellis is the Vice President of the group.
Mr. Ellis suggests the group should be allowed to meet with inmates in the weeks prior to their release.
