3 Barbadian journalists will be spending the next week in the United Kingdom.
The British High Commission has fully funded the media trip aimed at building media capacity in Barbados.
Deputy British High Commissioner Charley Williams says the two countries share a long history and the exchange will be an opportunity for local journalists to learn more about a modern UK and promote people to people links.
CBC’s Krystal Hoyte along with Tre Greaves from the Nation Publishing and Sheria Brathwaithe from Barbados Today were the three journalists selected, they spoke to CBC News prior to leaving.
