Barbadian students are taking advantage of the courses of study available through the partnership between the Barbados Community College and the Delaware State University (DSU).
Principal of the BCC, Annette Alleyne has been moved by the numbers registered, especially those in the agriculture programme with DSU.
She was a guest on CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
The DSU, a 133 year old institution, is one of America’s most prestigious historically black colleges and universities.
President Dr. Tony Allen says lessons were learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic with the DSU acknowledging it has to meet students where they are.
