There remains strong potential for development in the areas of arts and culture between Barbados and Charleston, South Carolina.
Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign and Trade and Business Sandra Husbands says this is based on the historic ties that exist between the two.
She made the comment as she addressed a Business Roundtable organised by the Barbados Tourism Investment Incorporated at the Sandals Royal Resort.
Ms. Husbands says both locations are renowned for warmth, hope and a sense of community spirit.
Head of the Barbados/Carolina Legacy Foundation Dwayne Green says during their meetings they will be looking for common points of interest where business can be done between the two countries.
