Barbados was among the 153 countries voting favour of a resolution at the United Nations General Assembly demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
CARICOM member states overall voted overwhelmingly in support of the non-binding resolution.
The US, which vetoed a resolution at the UN Security Council, was among the 10 countries along with Israel that voted against.
