Tourism players in Barbados are pulling their weight to ensure the country hosts a successful Caribbean Travel Marketplace.

Barbados is expecting positive spin-offs from the event set from May 9 to 11.

Caribbean Travel Marketplace 41 will build on the success of the 40th edition held in Puerto Rico.

Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) Ryan Forde say the event presents opportunities for the island to showcase its beauty and culture.

Mr. Forde was a guest on CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
