After receiving a shipment of thousands of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines, Barbados has taken a decision to give priority to those deemed high risk.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kenneth George revealed it was decided people over 65 years, along with those with non-communicable diseases, will be inoculated before the wider population.
He says children aged 12 to 18 years with underlying conditions are also vulnerable and should be given special consideration.
