Chairman of the Barbados Broadcast Authority Dr. Allyson Leacock, wants local broadcasters to stop applauding mediocrity and raise the standards.
She was speaking on CBC TV8’s “The People’s Business” last night when she noted that there’s training, and then there’s proper training.
The veteran broadcaster, who also heads the National Training Initiative, says when it comes to standards we need to be unapologetic.
