The Fair Trading Commission’s hearings into the rate increase application by the Barbados Light and Power Company entered a new phase today.
The hearings, taking place at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre until Wednesday, August 30, follow the Power Company’s motion to review and vary the Commission’s decision from February 15 this year.
In setting down the ground rules for this phase of the hearings, Chairman Donley Carrington said all parties involved would be heard on the specific issues related to the threshold and the applicant’s motion.
