A 23-year-old man has died following an altercation with a relative this afternoon.
He has been identified as Renario Junior Taylor of Melrose, St. Thomas.
The incident occurred at an establishment by the name of Goose Bar, also located in Melrose.
Police say the men got into an altercation which led to a physical fight, with one receiving a wound to his chest.
The Barbados Ambulance Service responded to the scene around 2:51 and both men were transported to the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic.
However, Taylor died while receiving medical attention.
A man is in custody assisting Police with their investigations.
