A 27-year-old man has been remanded to prison following a court appearance in connection with an incident which occurred at the St. Philip Polyclinic on January 18, 2024.
Tical Romario Smith of Gemswick, St. Philip was charged with the following:
· Assault of Camile Hunte
· Possession of an Offensive Weapon (a knife); and
· Trespassing
Smith appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes, where he pleaded guilty.
He is scheduled to reappear in court on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
