St. James North MP and Disabilities Advocate, Edmund Hinkson, has described the recent Budget delivered by Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley as exciting for people with disabilities.
Speaking at last night’s BLP St. James Joint Branch Meeting at Queens College, Mr. Hinkson explained some of the measures will alleviate some of the financial pressures people with disabilities and their families have been enduring.
He’s highlighted the measure relating to the access of NIS benefits.
Mr. Hinkson adds the Budget also addressed some of the matters pertaining to travel expenses for people with disabilities.
