Barbados and the region have been advised a multisectoral approach is required to effectively address violence against women and girls.
Head of the delegation of the European Union to Barbados, Ambassador Malgorzata Wasilewska while recognising the progress made, says there’s still a lot of work to be done.
She was at the time addressing a webinar on strengthening the capacity of the health sector, in response to violence against women and girls.
During the event, hosted by the Pan American Health Organisation, three virtual courses for health workers, health managers, and policy-makers were launched.
