The new U.S. Ambassador Roger Nyhus has arrived in Barbados.
Nyhus was appointed by President Joe Biden in September 2022 and unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate in November 2023 to serve as the Ambassador to Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, and St. Vincent and The Grenadines.
Ambassador Nyhus on arrival expressed excitement and is ready to serve.
He replaces former Ambassador Linda Taglialatela.
