Just over 10,000 people are expected to be seated in the newly created amphitheatre in the National Botanical Gardens for this Friday’s Pic O De Crop Finals.
On Wednesday afternoon, key stakeholders conducted a site visit as the finishing touches were being added.
Corporate Communications Specialist with the National Cultural Foundation, Toni Yarde, says preparations are progressing well.
She disclosed they’ve made several provisions to ensure patrons will be able to comfortably witness the kaiso battle.
Event Producer Aja says the 19 calypsonians will be given a chance to test the stage and get a feel of the venue at rehearsals.
