President of the Athletics Association of Barbados, Ambassador Noel Lynch says the island is being represented by a quality squad at this weekend’s CARIFTA games in Grenada.
While acknowledging that the athletes were challenged by the unavailability of the Ryan Brathwaite Track for the majority of the athletics season, Lynch is still expecting good performances from the team.
The CARIFTA games begin tomorrow, with live coverage on CBC TV8 from 9 a.m. to noon, and then for the second session from 4 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
