Barbados has benefited from millions in tourism earnings over the years through the annual Republic Bank Sir Charles Williams International Fishing Tournament.
The island’s Chief Fisheries Officer Dr. Shelly-Ann Cox puts the figure at 21 million since 2016.
She says the Fisheries Department is pleased to be on board with the international tournament.
