The Senate held its first meeting days after Madame Justice Cicely Chase dismissed preliminary arguments in a constitutional motion brought by former Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite, ruling it was properly constituted.
It was however a short sitting.
Before the sitting was suspended until Friday at 10:00 a.m., Leader of Government Business and Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Senator Lisa Cummins welcomed the Senators to Parliament building.
