Barbados is said to have undergone a fundamental transformation in every sector under the current administration.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Kerrie Symmonds, says it comes in what he describes as one of the most consequential periods in Barbados history. The Senior Minister defended the successes in the face of criticism as he took a jab at the Democratic Labour Party (DLP).
He was addressing a Barbados Labour Party (BLP) Christ Church East branch meeting. Mr. Symmonds says the country has to settle down and focus on “Mission Transformation” as Barbadians are not interested in the political tug-of-war
Minister Symmonds stood in defence of the action to write off the 1.3 Billion national insurance scheme debt following mounting concern in several quarters. He says the DLP is not telling the true story.
