T&T keen to work with Barbados on food terminal

There is interest from Trinidad and Tobago in working with Barbados on a food terminal.

This has been revealed by Minister of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security, Indar Weir as the Estimates Debate continues.

Though 2023 has been a challenging year, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security is reporting some successes in the production of agricultural commodities.

Mr. Weir says the overall performance points to a 24% increase in the entire sector.

He credits this to the work of his Ministry and the island’s farmers.
