Two elderly people have lost their lives as a result of COVID-19.
They are an 87 year old man who passed away on Wednesday, August 3rd, and a 91 year old woman who died today, Thursday, August 4th.
Their deaths have brought the number of casualties from the virus to 497.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Ian Gooding-Edghill, has extended condolences to their families and friends
